First Baptist Church has a storied history in worship and church life that gave birth to the “Charleston Tradition” in the eighteenth century. While much has changed over the centuries, the commitment to glorifying God in a classical, formal worship experience is still a vibrant expression of faith today.

The music ministry hosts a number of choirs including the adult Sanctuary Choir, children's and youth choirs, The Singers senior adult choir and handbell choirs.
